Today we gathered with friends & family to remember & celebrate the life of Bob Tacy.
From early childhood I never doubted that God existed, I never wondered if there was a heaven.. because God has always surrounded me with a “cloud of witnesses”.
The first was this man, “Mr. Tacy”. He took the snotty kid from down the street into his home… into his family and showed him the Love of Jesus. Simply “living” the FACT, that no matter what happens in this life, there is heaven that awaits us on the other side!
His life had such an impact on me that when we found that we were pregnant we called to let Bob and June know that we would name the child Tacy. Of course our daughter, Tacy is very grateful that Bob’s last name wasn’t “Lichtenstein”
Below is a video tribute I prepared for the service, we did not labor thru hundreds and hundreds of pictures to find the “good ones” or the “smiley ones” or the “appropriate ones” for with this mans life, there was not a moment that wasn’t “appropriate”, “smiley” or “good”…
Goodbye for now “Mr. Tacy”.. and yes, “I know the Lord is good to me and so i’ll thank the Lord, for giving me the things I need, the sun, the rain, and the apple seed..the Lord IS good to me..”
